well, guys are putting 50cc gassers in 80 inch planes,,, so I will tell you MVVS 35cc, gass or glow.

Don't go with a gasser in this plane, it just comes out too heavy to benefit. It will fly well with an OS 1.08 two stroke and up, and better still with a Saito 1.80 four stroke. Moki and YS both have engines in similar sizes that would be excellent choices, and keep the flying weight down. With your plane, as in most others, lighter flys much better.

how about os160fx which needs a home and is only couple oz heavier
than saito180/moki/ys
apart fr vibration rcs1.4 is also light and powerful
i got to try out gas engine in my rc life

If you want to go gas, start with a plane in the 80-85" span range, powered by a 50cc gasser. That's the bottom end of the gas engine range that makes sense for aerobatics. The small ones have too high a wing loading and are down on power.

The os 1.6 would be fine. It's still a little on the heavy side, but to nowhere near the extent a gas engine would be.

Sorry, I'll have to disagree with Diablo! But it depends on your description of unlimited! This 1/4 scale tipped the scale at 12lbs. 2oz.!
