Ha, good luck! Your best chance is to hook up with the ultra light/powered parachute/snowmobile guys. Maybe enough money and you can have something highly modified to work. I don't think you have a chance of finding anything in production. Look further down in this form and you will see that someone custom built a 80 cc opposed twin four stroke gas engine. Until this time, even that was unheard of.

You could always pull the engine from the family Toyota.

Well I know its probably not going to be easy, but I hoped that someone in this huge community had the recipe..

Power is not that important. It's for a giant scale Tiger Moth in scale 1:2,6 - 3,4m in span. Right now it's powered by a 6hp Tonini 57cc with 1:3 reduction - swinging 34x19 prop @ approx 3000 rpm. This package !QUOT!very scale!QUOT! in performance - boring to be exact - but it works. My problem is that the package i shaking the model to pieces...

I know a Norwegian guy who has the exact same model - but with 3W 150 R2 engine in it - that's 17hp and quite entertaining. I would however prefer a more scale like sound and the the advantages of four-strokes - less noise one of them, so 17hp is not a must - but approx 10hp will be my lower limit

If I have to go with 2 cyl 2stroke approx 130-160 cc do you guys know of other than 3w that makes something like this IN-LINE ??

Russ Stoltz at Challenge Tool made some of the nicest inline twins ever made..
8.8 and 11.6 cubic inches, made from Husky parts......Dont know if he still does, or what they cost...Dennis Crooks raced a giant scale P38 with two of the 8.8s, clocked about 190 mph....

""200 - 250cc 2 cyl IN-Line FOUR STROKE""

find a motocycle motor, cut the tranny off and weld it up, there you go.
