Default Muffler for BME 50

Anyone know of a quieter muffler than the JA Peacekeeper Pitts - there seems to be a BME 44 type with slimmer stacks and a 50 version with fatter stcks which is louder....????

Thanks,

Mike

Default Muffler for BME 50

Grommet, I have the BME 50 and use the 44 muffler. The 50 muffler is louder. I called J&A and had a lengthy discussion with them about a quieter muffler. The 50 muffler was designed with less backpressure to let the engine breath better......more RPM's. I had little luck finding anything quieter, but I hadn't tried Bold Muffler.

I fly in Livermore, where are you?

Bob
