I bought an MVVS 2.15 (35CC) new in July then ordered the MVVS tuned pipe kit for it. Header, Pipe and Hanger. I only received the pipe without the hanger or header. I called Morris Hobbies and they told me that they were on backorder from the Czech factory.

I called them the other day and was told they still have not gotten any headers in. The engine is basically useless to me without the header. I would return the whole package but I have bench run the engine with a Davis muffler on it.

Does anyone know if there is another header pipe that will fit this engine??

Sorry to hear that the US distributor is still doing the best that they can to ruin the reputation of these fine engines. All they have to do is ask the factory, and they will happily send them out a header via post. I routinely receive small parts like this from the factory in a week or so. Sounds like they are waiting for thier next large stocking order to get a header for you. I'd e-mail the factory, let them know you've PAID for the header, make sure you include your mailing address. They are good folks to deal with, I'm sure they will send you your header and bill the US distributor appropriatley. The address is [email protected]

Does the header for a 1.60 fit the 2.15 (i.e. do they have the same exhaust mounting dimensions?)

I have the 1.60, and would like to know if I will need new exhaust / muffler bits if I acquire a 2.15.

No! The 26cc and 35cc MVVS engines doesn't have the same exhaust bolt pattern.

Good news! Per David's and others recommendations, I E:mailed the MVVS factory regarding this situation. I received an E:mail from Gabriela this morning apologizing for the situation (which is not their fault) and assuring me that they would be sending me a header pipe this week!

Now that is what I call outstanding customer service!
