Default Wanted: Engine for 1/3 Extra-330L

I am looking for a good 70-80cc. engine for my kit. I would not only welcome any advice on which type, but also anyone who may have a used engine for sale. You can e-mail me at [email protected], Thanks. BTW, I am new to Giant scale.

The ZDZ 80 single would seem to fit your need perfectly. There is also a twin cylinder version as well if you want a twin.

I live in Tega Cay SC. I fly out at York County. We have had great WX. to fly here until the last week or so. Iam going to start my 330L in about a month. Right now I am building a scratch 40 size Wildcat profile that a friend designed.

Give the FPE 5.8 a thought. It is a 95cc engine and only weighs in at 95 ounces.

Hey thanks for the info guy's. I am still looking for a good deal on a twin. From all I have heard, I think I will splurge on the Twin if I can find one.

You might want to also post this in the engines wanted forum so owners looking to sell one can find your request easier.

If your not willing to go with a 100cc twin like a DA 100 for example

If it was mine.. the ZdZ 80 single sold by RCshowcase would win hands down..

just my opionion

Yes I think all those engines are great choices. I have set my heart on a twin though. I have been looking at several, they sure don't go for cheap. Thanks for the info. Thane

Check out this price for a new ZDZ-80 single cylinder engine, $430. Here is the web site:
http://www.zdz-motor.de/html/zdz80rvus.html The price is shown in the Euro so you will have to use a currency converter. I bought one last year and received it in one week from Germany. It takes longer than that for me to receive a package from the west coast. James Goss
