Default Ryobi Engine Conversion

A friend gave me a gas powered mixer, about 28cc. It is a Ryobi engine and I would like to use it on an airplane. The problem is the output shaft comes through the mounting plate. I have heard of Ryobi conversion kits. Does anyone know if they are adaptable to this kind of engine configuration?
Any help or info would be appreciated

Thanks
A3
