The G23 power output is comparable to a 120FS. Mine swings a 17x6 APC in the upper 8,000 range to 9,000 rpm. It can also turn a 16x8 if you are looking for more speed than thrust. I don't know what a 14lb Wildcat is, but mine flew a 16lb. 85" Hangar 9 Taylorcraft marginally. It lumbered to get off the ground, and was unable to loop from level flight. However, it now flies a 10.75 lb, 80" Jerry's Big Boy simply awesome, with very good, but not quite unlimited vertical. It hovers and torque rolls well, but won't pull out with tremendous authority. If your Wildcat is a sport aerobat, then 14lbs ready to fly (but no fuel) is going to be too heavy to have much fun with the G23. If it's a warbird, I still think it's going to be a bit marginal.
