Default G 26 carb fitting?

I have a new G 26 and would like to replace the nylon gas line fitting on the carb. I have the new metal part already. Before I end up "butchering" the carb....... how do I remove the old nylon, elbow, carb fitting?
I am afraid I will break off the end, in the carb, or leave a chunk of nylon in there that won't come out. ...... thanks in advance.........lownslo

It's a presss fit in the carb..The center is brass..It will plastic break off when you try to remove it, leaving the brass in the carb..Grab the brass with a small Vise grip and twist and pull it out...If you can't get it out that way get a 4-40 tap and screw it into the hole..When the tap bottoms out in the hole it will push the brass out....Use a litte care, the tap could break off...I remove the fittings all the time, have not broken a tap because they mostly come out with the Vise grip...

Just curious, but why replace it in the first place?
Is it to change the orientation of the fuel inlet, or because its a weak part that breaks?

That's a good question Marty. The answers are .... yes and yes. Actually it sounds like I could cause more problems getting it out ....... soooooo..... I think it will be a spare part. (just in case). Orientation problem is not critical enough to chance possible problems either. ... lownslo

I have the new metal part already.
Where do I go for this part and what do I ask for?
(I may need to make this change on my MVVS 215 to resolve a throttle linkage problem)

Marty, This is the part I purchased from my LHS...ordered through Horizon.

I am not sure if you will gain any clearance as the part is the same configuration, I think. I needed to rotate mine a little. I figured if I had to break it loose, I might as well put in a metal one.

Wow, I'm shocked, Horizon gets only 41% over suggested retail ($2.09) from the Walbro price book...
