Who's got a Q-52 out there and what will it do so far as turning a 22X10 prop. I talking about the Magneto version here. Im told 7000 rpm on the ground is realistic with that size prop, and thats about where I want to be.
Thanks in advance for the feedback, flyrc :spinnyeye

WE have been flying the Q52 on a Byron Zero for 12 years. Have Used a Clark or Zinger 20-10 prop only. This has been an excellent engine with plenty of authority for this 26# warbird. It is a magneto engine. Never put a tach to it so I dont know RPM.
Remember to set the low end before you try to set the high end and everything will be just fine.

Have had good results for a while with a Zinger 18x8-14 prop, will get about 7600 on the ground. You need to get this engine up in the mid 7000 range on the ground to get in its power band and not have it fall off on the verticle moves.
