Tuned muffler design software
I had a link to a website in Germany that had a java script tuned pipe calculator on it but it's gone now.
Does anyone have info on the design of tuned pipes, i.e; what the flare rates/chamber sizes/outlets would be for designing a pipe for a particular engine size/rpm range would be?
I would like to design and construct one for a ZDZ 50 engine that would use the inside and outside of the flare for both the divergent and convergent cones by putting the whole works inside another can. It should allow a physically shorter pipe but allow for the proper expansion and section sizes.
Maybe this is just a pipe dream, DOH!
