Im looking into purchasing a Hanger 9 Cap 232 (80") wingspan. It comes with a BME 50 CC motor. My other option is to buy a Cap 232 80" without a BME 50 CC new in Box.....The one with the BME 50cc looks like a great plane....I love caps, just cant afford anything over 1/3 scale or one of those new Extreme flight Yak's(87 in)....To tell you the truth i like the Cap much better.... So my plans are set on the 80 in cap. So I have a choice, get the one with the motor or get the one without the motor and put a DA 50 in it.... How does the DA 50 compare to the BME 50? There is only a 3 ounce difference between the models and the stroke and bore are very very close....They look almost identical. So what would be the plane that i could throw in my truck with my FT90 and Foamies and 3d all day with??? Will the BME 50 suit my needs??? All i want to do is 3D and I love the Cap 232 80' from hanger 9!!!!! Any ideas?? Thanks

The BME 50 is a very powerful motor that will 3d the H9 Cap with ease. It produces almost as much power as the DA without the many problems that some of the DA 50s have had. If the plane is set up for the BME, then I see no reason to go through the problems of installing a DA on it. Just start it up and have fun!
