I just bought a BME 50 and I need a muffler and engine mounts for it.
I've looked around a bit and can't seem to find either anywhere.
My questions are what is the preferred muffler and mounts for this engine?
Is there much difference between the different brands as far as performance?
I also need a battery for the ignition system. What are you guy's using?
This is my first gas engine with this type of ignition system.
Any tips or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Anyone have any mufflers, or mounts for sale?
It will be going in an 84 inch Edge 540
Thanks a bunch for any info.

J&A Engineering sells a Pitts style muffler for the BME 50 & BME 44. It is actually the same muffler and will fit both. As a matter of fact you can buy these mufflers direct from BME if you wish. Skip is correct as well, in that you can get the Banjo type mulffers.
As for mounting options, there are two that come to mind immediately: Hangar 9 beam mount (aluminum),
