Default Another mysterious engine

You guys so helpful on the last one thought I would ask about this one too. Any Idea what this is. Acquired with other one I had asked about in some trading. Pics below:

Hello single,
It is a converted chain saw engine. Probally about 1980 era. It looks very much like a Super Husler 2.6, but not quite. The Husler was a commericial conversion of a saw with a front piston port intake and electronic ignition. I know what saw the husler cam from.

Looks a lot like a Mc Colough Mini Mac.

Looking at the bottom case and you start to wonder where DA and BME got their engine case designs from.

Had a 1918 antique water cooled outboard motor that I sold a few yrs ago with the same case design.
