Men, DA is the only gas engine company in the world as far as I'm concerned. There are wonderful engines on the market, but DA's service is unparalleled.

Here is the story, I'm practicing IMAC and have a contest this weekend. Low and behold the engine is only turning 4600 RPM's. I call DA Monday and tell Scott Anderson the story. He says no problem, it sounds like a slipped hub (which it was), overnight it to me and I'll get it back to you. Not only do they get it done, but courtesy call and let me know it is on the way back.

All I can say is, WOOWWW!

Consider Desert Aircraft. I own two and my next engine will only be a DA.

I also love the DA engine however I have Emailed them twice with the same question first time was mid April and still no answer I emailed them through their web site so Im sure the address is right....Some have good response and some dont...Rick

The phone will not ring more than 3 times I promise you when you call. The only gas engine I would ever own is a DA even if someone comes out with a engine that makes better power. 3W makes some good engines that perform well. No one can argue that point, but even if they cost less money you couldn't sell me one for the reason I stated in my first statement.

DA makes a great performing engine and their service solidifies them as the best gas engine company there is to me. Period.

I agree, DA's service is matched by none! I sent in my DA-50 for the carb block mod, and not only did they do that but also replaced the cylinder, piston, rod and crank. Basically sent me a new engine. All at no charge including shipping. I am selling all my 3W engines and buying DA. (I'm also telling everyone I know that they need to buy DA)

even in australia the story is the same 1st class service, helpful advice i have 2 da engines 100cc & 150cc both run like clocks

Right on fellas! I bought a DA50 a couple of years ago. Ran great for 6 months. I noticed front bearing a little loose. Shipped to DA. Returned a week later all fixed. Flew for another 6 months or more. Flying along at half throttle and engine dies. Prop would not turn as something broke inside, connecting rod or crank. Shipped to DA and got it back a week later. The only thing from my original engine they returned was the carb! Practically a new engine. These guys stand behind their products! No muss, no fuss, just great service!

PS: My DA50 is going on my new 92" Ohio Model Products Hybrid Edge 540.

I have a huge problem with my DA I cant stop flying the plane long enough for them to update it so im saving my cash and buying another one before i send this one for the update on the carb. If you landings are silky smooth it wont quit on you

I think my next gas engine will be a DA. Others have tried to convince me to go for the cheaper engines but I doubt they have the same service/warranty if something happens to the engine. DA all the way!!!
