Hi Guys I just got a new hall effect sensor from ch ignitions. I need to remove the old sensore from the plate taht mounts to the engine and glue this one to that plate. What glue should I be using? Also any ideas on the best way to unglue/remove the old sensor from the plate?

Thanks,

5 Minute epoxy works just fine...Just grab the old sensor with a pair of pliers and break it off...Be sure you put the numbers on top, facing the magnet...

When I ordered my new Hall Effect Sensor from CH, it came on a copper bracket, and one lead was soldered to it. CH told me that it's important for the HES to be grounded to the engine to avoid damaging it, and this looks like a great solution. So, you might want to consider grounding the sensor.
