Default 2blade to 3blade prop

I'm currently running a 17-8 APC and need to be running an 18x6 or 8 APCw. But I just don't have the ground clearance for it. What would be a compareable prop in a 3blade? Realizing that the 3blade prop would be shorter. Is there a "rule of thumb" for this?
The motor is a Zenoah G26.

Thanks,
