Today in flight my BME engine started surging when I went to full throttle. In fact 1/2 to full it does it. It almost sounded like I was doing the throttle up and down. It's not sparatic it seemed pretty consistant. I did take out the the switch for the ignition and tried it directly wired still did it! any suggestion of what the problem might be? Or is this description to vague? Also I did lean out the high side a little before my first flight of the day and it started doing it half way thru the flight. But the engine did not seem hot! The battery is fully charged, I checked, I also discharged the battery to make sure the battery was still good!

There is something wrong with the fuel system. Most likley in the carb. Take the cover off the carb. The one with the one big screw in it and make sure everything is clean. It is leaning out in high speed.

I did not think it was fuel related because of the consistancy of the surges! It was the Ignition battery grinding its way into the engine mount bolt!! So basically it was shorting out! Thanks for the inputs though!!
