Default Least width 100cc twin?

Which of the 100cc twins has the narrowest width including plug caps?

I notice DA have angled plugs and 3w have straight out, could be one thing to consider

The DA 100 is just over 11.5" cap to cap--I KNOW there are narrower engines out there than that! The Brison 6.4 twin looks pretty narrow--only 9.75" without the plugs (which are angled). Is there anything out there narrower? I've got a 100" Corsair cowl to stuff the engine into and the inside diameter of the cowl is 11-1/8" and I don't want to have any holes for spark plug caps in it.

One other thing to consider is putting about 2.5 to 3 degrees of right thrust on the engine. This pretty much the standard depending on a whole buncha variables. If you keep the prop hub in the center of the cowl, the aft end of the engine at the mount will move to the left, moving the left hand cylinder to the left and maybe into the cowl. Also making this situation worse is the fact that all boxer twins have the left and right cylinders offset forward and aft to account for the 180 degree connecting rod crankpin alignment on the crankshaft. If the forward most offset cylinder is on the left side, the left side cylinder spark plug cap will be closer to the more forward reduced down cowl circumference. Also a bad deal for "no cowl penetrations."

My engine mounting attempts ended up with cutouts and none-scale "blisters" on an otherwise pristine Byron F-6F-5 Hellcat.

Just my 2 cents worth, from a difficult, and less than rewarding modeling experience.

TJ- I don't think you need much right thrust if you use a mix with throttle and rudder. Never tried it on a War Bird but it works on aerobatic planes.

I also agree with wingburner, but don't want to start any wars. So let's not.

The Conachen Corsair that I am putting the engine on does not need any side or vertical offset in the thrust line. This plane has the scale tail offset and flies great with the engine mounted dead center.

I've decided to go with a BME twin as I found a good deal on one. It fits perfectly.

Thanks!
