Default BME 110 Mounting bolts?

Can anybody tell me what size mounting bolts they used on their BME 110? 1/4" is too big and 10-24 etc seems a bit small. It seems that 3/16" might be the right size but I cant find them in a 3" screw. Thanks.

I used 10-32 bolts, same diameter as 10-24. They screw into firewall blind nuts and I add nylon insert locknuts on the other side. Absolutely zero problems in hundreds of flights.

Thanks. I ended up enlarging the holes to 1/4".

I have a BME102 and use 10-32 with the nuts with the nylon inserts.
With the torque of that engine, I don't now about enlarging the hole.
Make sure that you don't stress the hole and brake the engine mount.

The last BME I had here was attached to its mount with THREE 10-32 allen bolts...No reason to go any larger to mount it on the plane, never heard of one breaking loose from the mount...The tensile strength of just one 8 grade 10-32 is about 2500 lbs...
AHA, you say..Why do 10-32 prop bolts fail ? Because they are not kept TIGHT..You will never see a prop bolt PULLED apart, they are SHEARED off at the hub when they get loose...

Thanks guys. Since the opening was 3/16th and I had a bunch of 1/4" cap heads, I just enlarged the hole by 1/16th. Worked fine. Thanks again.
