Default Zenoah G-45 question

Flying my new TF Giant P-47 with the 45. Very pleased with the engines performance. One troubling observation....after each flight, there is a deposit of oily fuel on the wing behind the carb stack. Normal stack extends past the cowl opening, and cut on a slant with the slant forward, I thought , to put a positive airflow to the carb to prevent just that..Inside length of the stack is about 1" +. Can some users of these engines give me the answer to this, can it be corrected, or is this a normal occurence....
