Default spinner for BME 110

Need some suggestions for a spinner for my BME 110. The book says to use a 4 inch. I have an Extra 260 the engine is going to power and would like to use the Extra spinner shape. Thanks.

I like Dave Brown Spinners myself, but there are many manufacturers that make quality spinners.

Tru Turn's Special spinner is the closest to an Extra 260's spinner I've seen

The bisson fiberglass spinners are about as an exact match as they come, what I have for my extra.

Bisson? I'll have to check those out as I need one for my 27.5% Extra 260!

Does anyone have experience with Nova spinners from Airwild? I noticed their ad in a mag and they look cool on their website. Maybe a bit pricey. They mention being drilled for DA and ZDZ but not BME. Thanks for the replys

The prop/spinner on the Extras is a MT. The ZL Line/Mejzlik are very close to exact in shape, the Bisson looks like a glass copy of those. A 33% scale Extra would take a 4.6" spinner so 4.5" is pretty darn close.

After having the znline, pete model, and now the bisson, the bisson glass spinner is the closest to scale, its just a tad different than the znline. they also offer it in carbon, but I like the glass one because its gelcoated and ready to paint with no pinholes unlike the carbon spinner.

I would be leary of using anything but a Tru-turn spinner, or at least a spinner with a knurled backplate. The single bolt configuration of the BME leaves no room for error...

If you have a smooth backplate you will have to pin the propeller, backplate and hub together. If not, it will slip.
