Default 3w igntion trigger switch

I am pretty certain the trigger switch not the module is broken ..how exactly do I replace it.is this speific to 3w meaning I have to order it there??can I get the part and do the replacement myself??can another swtich like ch be used??

3W or DA, same connections...Easy to do, just 2 screws...

thanks that makes 2 times you came to my rescue! I now have a spinneron the nose of my stinger..I found a steel socket head screw 3.5 inches..and dave brown sent me an adapter fitted for 3w ..so I am set...rc folks are the best!!! ty..

While 3W and DA ignition pick up units are compatible and use the same mounting dimensions, the plug wiring or pin assignment is different. Additionally the timing and or more specifically the trigger point is slightly different which will affect the motor timing. So it's important to realign the sensor to accommodate same.

The 3W and DA ignition trigger units are proprietary, no outside sources other then OEM stuff.
