Default Quadra 35 fuel / oil mix

What fuel oil ratio is best for a Q35? Plan to use auto 87 octane gas and would like thoughts on what brand of oil at what ratio to use. A/C is a 1/4 scale Citabria.

Thanks,

Bill

I just use the 87 octane and the 40:1 oil ratio. I have been using Poulan oil. One bottle oil to 1 gallon gas. Some bottles are for 2 gals though

I use Husqvarna oil in my engines. Mixed at 40:1.

They make a 3.2oz bottle--which is perfect for 1 gallon of gas. Yields 40:1 mix

They also make a 6.4oz bottle which yeilds a 40:1 mix for 2 gallons.

The 3.2oz bottle costs $1.05 w/tax.

It is a non-synthetic oil--as far as I know. It could have some small amounts of synthetic additives--but for the most part, it's real oil.

I've used Yamalube at 40:1 and Amsoil at 100:1. Both are excellent oils. The Amsoil burns extremely clean and I really like it.
