Default G26 in a Balsa USA EEA Biplane

While turning through the yellow pages I found the Balsa USA site and liked the looks of their EEA Biplane. Has anyone put a G26 in this plane? Looks like this would be a good match!!!! Looking for a winter project.

Hi Gang,
The kit was made for a .60ci glow, so you need to beefup the fus and add spruce spars if they aren't there already. You may need to use heavier LG wire also etc. I was just thinking of designing a bipe for my Toro conversion engine and this size seemed good. 60" span with about 1200 sq in. area. The EAA has a roomy fus too.

Dave, didn't notice your right. I still like the looks though. Does anyone have a biplane that a G26 would fit in. and still be 80" or 1/4 scale for this engine?

Go back to the BUSA site and look at the 1/4 Scale Nieuport 28.C-1 - It is on my short list for build and will be powered by a G26.

I have the Balsa USA Phaeton 90 bipe with a converted Homelite 25cc. It's not a scale anything, but a very pleasureable plane to fly. The only mod I made in building was to move the firewall back about 1 1/2- 2 inches for balance purposes.

All G23/G26 power, some minor bashing. All fly extremely well.
