zenoah g38 or quadra 35? what is this thing?
ok..I have an engine..I dont know if its a zenoah G38 or a quadra 35. the parts manuals look the same as far as parts go..the prop hub is a home made one and the only clue I have is the flywheel has 4 holes in the front of it and that matches the quadra drawings..the zenoah drawings only show 2 holes BUT the zenoah drawings I have are for the one that the prophung mounts with two screws to the flywheel..My hub screws onto the crank directly. attache is three pictures..HELP!!!!

Go to www.horizonhohby.com and look at the pics of a G-38 there. I had one about 5 years ago, but can't remember exactly what it looked like.

It's a Quadra 35 or 42, or US 41. There are ways to tell which, but I don't know for sure. I beleive some had 2 rings and others 1 ring. Not a G-38.

It's a Quadra, the US engines never had points..The wire from behind the flywheel connects the points to the ignition coil....[8D]

I'm gonna give new life to this old engine....and any tips on making it super reliable would be nice..
