Default RCS 140 silencing

I am trying to get an RCS 140 to quiten down to 82dB, I was going to use a BCM but i doubt this will meet the requirement, are there any standard mufflers which will meet these levels?

Hi,
That is real low. You may have to add a secondary can muffler. Mount it to the bottom of the plane and use rubber hose and clamps to connect it. Some folks have used lawn mower mufflers for this. It works.

I should have said that measurement is at 7 meters from the plane, but yes it is low, any ideas what the Bisson's operate at?

No, but most good can type mufflers run in the mid nineties at about 7m or 21 feet.
