It sounds like the numbers out of the box are quit a bit lower than a DA. Perhaps this is why we have not seen any comparisons

I would really be interested to see the comparisons. I am beating my head against the wall trying to decide between the Kroma, 3W, or BME.

Sorry for the delay, but I have some numbers from last weekend.
The Kroma 100 Broke in, is turning a Bolly 27 x 10 wood prop 6450
We are getting 5900 to 6000 on the frist runs, when we test the motors.

Well, 27x10 @ 6450 compared to 30x10 @ 5900 on the 3W-106.
I wouldn't call that outperforming...

30x10 is not a very practical prop for the 106, yes it will pull it, but the motor doesnt make the best power with that prop.

The 106 is a real strong engine, but with a 30-10 it's probabble making a lot more heat than power.
