Default Carb to Firewall Space?

From experience do any of you think 1/2" to 9/16" is enough clearance for a 26cc gasoline engine. That's solid firewall to carb face? thanks.

Yes, if the choke valve still can be opened.
That distance would be enough for a 1" throat dia carb, without flow rate reduction.

Plenty of distance, should have no problems.
