I have an Echo 2400 weed-eater and would like to convert it to an RC airplane engine. I believe it is a 24cc engine. Has anyone converted this model? Any help would be great.

Hi, I have converted a ton of these, they are pretty straight forward cut the extra aluminum off the case and turn a prop hub you can use the four small tapped holes that the recoil was bolted on with to mount the engine to the firewall. Stick this engine in a fourstar 1.20 type aircraft or cub. Something with about 1000 sq in. This engine is not a powerhouse but you will never wear it out .Put a 16-8 on it and fly the pants off it!Oh I forgot to tell you it does not flip start very easy but it will pop right off with an electric starter.
