Default Drilling Prop Without a Jig

Since I received the wrong drill jig, I decided to drill the prop using the prop washer. I went to Ace and picked up a 10mm bolt, nut, and 2 washers. I used these to bolt the washer to the prop. I clamped the washer to the back of the prop and drilled one hole. Then inserted a bolt. I just repeated this for all the holes. After drilling a hole, I inserted a bolt. Finally, I took and flipped the washer over to the other side of the prop and then re-drilled. It came out perfect. Here are some pics.
Only use a drill press. Don't try doing this by hand.

Hi,
It might be a good idea to use this process to make a steel jig from a good quality steel washer. This way you won't wearout the holes in your prop washer when drilling additional props. Nice job.

good idea. I didn't even touch the washer. No metal shavings in with the sawdust.
