What is a good prop size for a quadra 50? Is there an easy way to tell a 50 from a 52 without pulling the head off to look at the piston?

YSUSER,

You get into this gasser, you going to change your user name?

The Quadra 50 or 52 will probably work well with a 20 x 10, or 20 x 12 at least to start with. Someone else will have to say how to tell them apart.

Have fun!

The easiest way to tell the difference between the Quadra 50 and 52 is to measure the exhaust port width. The 50 is under 1 inch and the 52 is over one inch.

I would recommend using a 20x8 to get the RPM's up.
