Default Gas or Nitro for Mod Project

i posted on a mod boat project im starting down in the boats area. the one reply i have so far brings up a good topic i believe... the basic question , if you have 2 32 cc engines, on gas, one nitro, what is the Major differances in HP and such? given the standard differance ie. gas is WAY cheaper than nitro, even at 2.50 a gallon, a bit easier to work with, start, cleanup ect... but in terms of raw unadulteraed WOW thats fast factor, which is King of the hill and which is well, a sissy?

this build is for SPEED!!! not going to run compitional races, just days at the lake tearing it up as fast as i can make it go, hopefully untill it completely disinagrates from sheer speed!!! LOL if your interested, you may follow my progress and comment along the way, it is listed in the speed boat section under the heading, has anyone tried this mod. your input is greatly appreiated
thanx
Tim

I don't know about boats, but in airplanes, glow fuel will give you the biggest bang per pound! I assume boats would be the same. A big Glow engine is going to give more power, and more RPM's than a gas engine of the same size, and will weigh substantially less. However, a gas engine might be able to turn a bit larger prop--which may give you more speed in the water. Hmm, guess I really haven't helped much.
