I stopped by every conceivable place around home and work looking for this infamous Lawnboy Ashless everyone recommends for new gas engines. I figured it had something to do with living in California, so I gave up and started searching online. Well, if you go to Ace Hardware's web site, you can order it there, and have it shipped free to your local store. You can even get a 4 pack of the larger 8 ounce cans ($7.16) for LESS than a 4 pack of the smaller 4 ounce cans ($8.94).

So, I ordered a 4 pack of the larger 8 oz cans. Thought I would share with everyone, since others seem to have the same problem. Simple enough for me!

I pick up the four pack of 8 ounce cans at the local Sears for about the same price.

Yep Sears has it.

Home Depot carries it as well.

I've tried two different Sears, three Home Depot's, Lowe's, Yardbirds, Citgo Gas Station (read they manufacture it and should have it, but they carry a different brand-go figure), three Wal Marts, two Targets, you name it. No luck. I do live in the Bay Area if that makes any difference to anyone.

O'Reilly's carrys it too.

That's crazy, $1.78 more for half the size????
It's a huge mistake!!!

On the oher hand...I know guys that will not use Lawnboy ashless????

Just remember ( in California only) If you drink 4 gallons a day for 6 months, you WILL get cancer

In Florida you can get it at Albertsons of all places.
