Default BME110 owners

Hey guys,

I am wanting to know if it's possible to have a few pics of how you guys have the baffling going on with the 110 and I would like to see a quick video or sound file so that I can hear the motor go from idle and full throttle, just to hear how it sounds? I am quite curious and really like the fact that it's light.

Any help would be very helpful and would help me make up my mind.

Thanks in advance

LeBlanc

Here's how I did my Yak. No sound stuff - wouldn't do you any good anyway since mine is still crappy (new engine)

I have not done much in the way of baffling, but here it is. Bodywerk's has done a very good job. I have about 30 flights on my plane so far and have had no heat related problems. I do have a lip surrounding the exit area to help create a low pressure zone though.

I flew my 110 in a WildHare 330 all last year without any baffling, I did have most of the bottom of the cowl removed.
2 of us flew it at an IMAC contest in Shreveport with temps at 113 deg. with no problems.

Thanks guys, I am just wondering, what's the decibal rating with the stock mufflers? At my club, it's a 96db at 9feet/3metres.

Thanks

Mine is plenty quiet. Be sure to run CF props and you'll keep the noise down pretty well.

Mine was quite with stock mufflers except when I ripped the prop.
