Is it just me, or did a whole afternoon/evening worth of posts go into the bit bucket??

there is a problem it seems...even i cant find some of my posts of last evening. i got mail notification but no post.

About 15 hours of posts are potentially gone. we had a major db crash and restored from the last clean backup. tomorrow we will see if the "gapped" posts can be recovered but I'm not overly optimistic at this point. We will be working on a strategy to tighten up the incremental backups so if we do have a major crash we can roll back say 3 hours max. We will also be moving our main forum db to new upgraded hardware in the next week or so in order to rule out hardware as the cause. If we cannot recover the 15 hours worth I apologize in advance
