Default Fuji Imvac EIS 64 sensor problem

I just bought a Fuji Imvac 64 EIS engine and I believe I have a grounding problem with my sensor. Everytime that the engine starts up it becomes erratic going from high to low throttle on its own. While pressing the sensor wires with my fingers on the engine block the problem seems to correct itself. As soon as I take away pressure from the sensor wires the problems comes back again. I also decided to get a new sensor and I am having a hard time installing the new one because the bolts hit the crankshaft. Please advise.

To properly-install the sensor, you must remove the small flywheel.

Please make sure the small grounding wire has a good, clean connection.

Despite removing the 4 hex screws, the small flywheel still does not come off. Thanks.

You'll need a wheel puller...it's a very close fit.
