Default RCIGN's

Just a short note to pubicly thank Ralph Cunningham for getting my cranky engine back on line, at the 2006 IMAA Rally of the Giants. His engine expertise allowed me to fly my Gee Bee Z all 3 days that I was there.

No biggie. A change in altitude required needles to be reset. A new plug helped too. It's good to have knowledgeable friends. Thanks again Ralph. The Bee flew great !

Yup, I agree, Ralph is great. I really appreciate the G62 that I purchased from him. It was also a pleasure to actually get the chance to meet him personally at the gathering of the Giants. If Ralph is listening, I would like to hear about what he thinks of the new Zenoa 20 cc EI engine.

Looks good, the only problem is the ignition, TKG tested one...Takes 2 amps and gets quite hot..You use up the weight savings by having to run a heavy battery...Too bad they won't sell a short block version without ignition, a C&H with the shielded cap and wire would be great on it...

Thanks for the info Ralph. The engine looks like a good bargin but not if one needs to change the ignition.

Best wishes, good luck and good flying.

If you need to put your homie on a strict diet, have Ralph fit one of his electronic ignitions for some serious weight reduction.

I did a few Homie 25s, around 8400 rpm with a Mejzlik 18-6...Don't remember the weight, might be a post on it in the archives somewhere..
