I have been running both my engines on regular fuel I recently found out I can purchase 110 Octane or blue racing fuel. Have any of you ran your engines on this?

what is regular fuel?
MVVS need premium leadfree gasoline. 95 octane (US 90 octane ?) or better.
110 octane racing fuel is way over the top, and if not leadfree may cause problems with the synthetic racing oil that MVVS prescribes. Racing engines have very tight maintenance schedules, but unless you adapt the engine to use such high octane fuels, they will not improve your engine performance at all.

DA told me that regular not premium or high octain is the fuel to use. The shell station or for that matter any station would be in trouble if it sold leaded fuel so the 110 octainim im sure is lead free but ill double check. a lot of the ninja bike guys use this fuel due to the nice smell as much as the added performance. I was just curiouse and wouldnt mind having The DA perform a tad better it sounds like it has a touch of preignition noise. Thank you for your input

I run regular unleaded (87 octane)in my DA...works perfect... and Dave at DA recommends it....
no reason to run the higher octane unless the engine is designed and timed for it...
as for the Ninja guysl... I raced a 600 superport bike for years and always laughed when people spent Waaaaaay too much for Race gas.... if your bike/plane/car isn't specifically tuned to run high octane, you are wasting your money....
so sport bike riders that haven't advanced their timing...rejetted the carbs... and run an after market exhaust (which is NOT street legal, but many run them..) are just wasting money.....
