Im moving and wont be using the DA50 for about a year. how do i put it away? do they hv some some kind of after run oil for gassers?

Marvel Mystery oil or automatic transmission fluid works for just about anything if you really feel that you have to do something, but truth be told all you have to do is make sure all the gas is out of the carb and put it in a box for storage. The oil mixed in the gas, and not using methanol based fuels takes care of them pretty well. Same methods of storage as a chain saw or weed wacker.

I just squirt a little "full strength" 2-stroke oil in the cylinder and make sure the gas is drained out of the carb before storage.

How do make sure all the gas is out of the carb ? just pull the fuel line and run the engine till it quits?

You can take the diagphrm cover off and the diagrphrm(spelling) and let it AIR OUT for a while,,
