Here we go again. I recently purchased an evolution 45gx2. Long story short, wouldnt run, they sent me a new one.
The new one fired on teh 2nd flip, right out of the box. I ran a tank through it exactly like the book said. 2nd tank, fired right up. Another tank through. Let it cool, then a third tank.. started right up.
Now, the 3rd day to run it, i was going to run one more tank through it before i fly tomorrow. It wont fire.
Nothing has changed. The motor is getting gas. Seems like the plug isnt getting fire. I checked it grounded to the motor, no spark. The battery is fully charged at 7.4 vlts.
I reprogrammed the auto choke, works fine, just no spark.
Any suggestions?

Tiger,
If the auto choke works and the battery is fully charged, it looks like an ignition unit internal failure. Try a differnt battery and switch if possible. Did the first engine have a spark?

I think the switch is fine. I know its getting power because the ignition powers the choke servo, which is working.
Yes, the first engine had spark, just no rpm.
Like i said, this engine ran fine, then overnight it decides not to run again. I have no idea whats up.
