Default 3w41 back carb

I have a 3w 41 and Im putting in on a cap 232. I have not worked with a eng with the carb on the back of the eng before. I will have to put a hole in the fire wall to make the eng fit. What I would like to know is, With the carb in the plane like it will be, is there somthing I need to do. What kind of probs will I have? Will he eng get air? Will I have to put a hole in the plane? Can I run a tub from the carb to the out side of the plane? If you all can help. plz do.

About all you have to do is fuel proof around where the carb enters the plane. Some fuel will spit out from time to time but not much.

The engine will get enough air without doing any mods to your airplane.

Also I read somewhere that installing a stack (trumpet) to the carb will eliminate the spray. I put one on my ZDZ 40 and it still sprays so save your money and pass on the trumpet.

Well you can buy an airfilter type fitting for the zdz's (maybe 3w as well).

It looks like the old style airfilter for a car and has a enclosed ring of filter around the outside that soaks up the fuel.

I ran a 3w50 and didn't have that much of a problem with it getting wet inside the fuse. Just make sure it's fuel proofed to prevent any long term damage from getting wet.
