Default BME 115 differences

Picked up my BME 115 yesterday, looks sweet! However mine looks different from the pics that RTK posted, trying to find out what the difference is, take a look.

Looks like the front case is filled in around the bolts, his looks hollow there ..

That is what I am referring to. Here is the response I just received from BME

"yours is the latest version. We had one to crack the case at that point so we changed it"

More strength with very little added weight...
Or more wall thickness for a larger center bearing....

The one that flyinrazrback has is the latest, the one on the table. RTK returned his to be changed and has not made it back yet. Mine is not due to show up for a few more days yet for more photos. RTK is out of comms for a few days so prolly won't be joining in until then.

The reason for the change is that one, and only one, cracked, so Keith made the call for the return. It was not the one RTK had. I was informed that the machinest that made the cases deviated from what had originally been instructed in the first few engines and was caught a bit later. The case difference added perhaps an ounce or less to the total engine weight.
