I'm just getting into larger planes and gas engines. I was looking for a book that covered some ground on this. I have some books about glow engines,flying,building but not all will apply to larger scale planes. I came across "GAS ENGINES AND GIANT PLANES" from Don's Hobby. Has anyone read this book? Are there any other good reference books out there worth getting for gas engines and giant scale? Would appreciate the feedback. Thanks, Pete

Yup- it's a good book; there doesn't seem to be a lot of printed reference material for these planes and this one appears to be pretty current. I'm sure most of the material would be second nature to anyone already flying gassers, but it's a great primer for those getting into them. Well worth the money!
