Default Old Koritz 4.2

I have a KORITZ 4.2 on an A.A. NOSEN P-51 . I havent flown it yet but have run it up . It is avery heavy engine. Has anyone used these engines before , and what can you tell me about them, what props? what fuel mixture , any info . Thanks FLYBABY

Back in the back days, these were considered to be one of the high class gasoline engines. They were smooth but heavy. You could probably go with a good chainsaw oil at 40:1 mix. This engine, if it's a 4.2, should pull the Mustang well. Have you measured the bore and stroke?

Thanks BIG BIRD No i havent measured the bore and stroke but i will try that to make sure of what i have. Wht props did you run on them when you had one ? flybaby

I didn't have one but have a good friend who still has one. I would use a 22 x 10 prop on it.
