It's probably a Quadra, but I'm not sure exactly which type it is. I want to sell it, so I would like to know some more about this engine.

It's definitely a Quadra, either a 35 or 40cc.

Pull the muffler. Using a wooden probe like a toothpick or skewer, measure the cylinder bore. If its 40mm(1.57") the engine is a 41/42. If it's 37mm (1.44")it's a 35. The stroke will be the same so measuring that is of no use. Tex.

Check the B&B web site. Good place for info on these engines. Thought I had a 35cc but was surprised to see it had 2 piston rings which means it's a 40cc! They are good people to deal with (ordered parts for the 40).
