Default MVVS58 /Evolution 58GX2 weight

I am looking for an all up weight on the MVVS/Evolution 58GX2.

Specs say that the motor is 4 pounds bare.

Has anyone put this power plant on a good scale with ignition?

Also, anyone know what this motor weighs with the can that Horizon is selling?

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...D=EVO30014204E

How about the weight of the pitts?

engine include ignition 1824 + 178 gramms = 6.2oz
So motor with plug and prop bolts ect is

4LB bare motor

Bore 42 mm Maximum power output ** 8.5 HP/6950 RpM
Stroke 42 mm Maximum torque **
Weight of complete engine without ignition* 1820 g Fuel Unleaded 95-octane fuel

Weight of ignition unit 165 g Lubrication Oil with petrol in mixture 1:40
RpM range 1000 – 7500 RpM

* Some manufacturers state the weight of incomplete engines. The value in the table above stands for the weight of a completely assembled engine, including the spark plug, carburetor, drive washer and prop screws.

** Power output varies with the exhaust used. The value given in the table stands for the maximum available power output.

** Power output varies with the exhaust used. The value given in the table stands for the maximum available power output.
Weight of complete engine without ignition* 1820 g = 4.012lb
Weight of ignition unit 165 g = 5.8oz

Total weight minus exhaust system is 4 pounds 6oz

ADD pitts Pits 165 + 330 Grams= 11.6oz

So with pits 165 power package is 5 pounds 2oz (Same as above)

Anyone know the weight of the can/header system that Horizon is selling?

Also, if anyone has one of these on the bench and a good scale please verify.
