"Old" DA 50

I have a DA 50 with a 2 digit ser#.

Just came back from DA when I bought it. How long (gallons) will these engines last ? and...how do you know when it's time to service the thing?

If it's running well no need for anything. But you could use # of gallons since last check. After 20 gallons send it in.
