Installing a 2.4 on a plane and am curious to the size of the fuel tank required. Typical flights 10 minutes or less at mid to high throttle what would be the average fuel consuption. I know there are a lot of variables so please concentrate on the words "average fuel consumtion". Most of us tend to put to big of a tank on board and I can see no reason to be hauling all that juice around the sky.
Thanks

I have been running a Brison 2.4 for years. If it is a plane that lands easily I use a 16 oz. for 10 mins. no problem. If I put it in plane like my P - 51 I use 20 oz. just in case.

Average fuel consumption is about 1/2 oz/minute for each cubic inch displacement.
Top fuel consumption is horsepower related, and about 1/3 oz/hp/minute.
