I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of fixing my little problem. As the title says I have a 30cc ryobi engine that is still mounted on my yard trimmer in stock set up. After I let it warm up in half choke and go to open the choke up all the way and give it the gas, it bogs down. I thought I could have a clogged fuel filter in the tank for a cracked fuel line, while I was holding the throttle wide open and it was bogging down, I slowly pumped the fuel bulb to see if that would help at all, and it killed the engine. So I am not sure if fuel delivery is a problem or not. Here is a picture of the only two adjustments on the carb, the red and white adjusters.
Thanks in advance

most likely just set up too lean. Remove the plastic caps from the needle valves (more government intrusion). Be careful. Just grab the end of one w/ pliers and pull it straight off, then the second one same way. There will be small markings at the base of each needle (L and H, for lowspeed and highspeed). Open the one marked H (turn counterclockwise) about 1/4 turn and try it again. Adjust in 1/8 turn increments till it runs strong without sagging, but still produces high RPMs.

The string trimmers often use a small fuel line that simply enters the tank through a small tight hole that after time can cause the line to compress and resist fuel flow causing the condition you describe of having to grossly restrict air flow to get a mixture that will run.
Also look at various places the line may make a turn as they may also restrict flow. The solution of course is to remove and replace the fuel line.
