Hi everybody!
I have a brand new ZDZ 100 B2NG that drives me nuts! I have had it running fine for about 20 minutes. From the start i could just make it go for about 5 seconds, then it stalled.
I have tried everything som nice people on this forum have suggested. New fuel lines, diaphragms, ignition settings, new ignition 6 volt battery and so on..... Yesterday i had it started and it run perfectly. I was so happy!!! Thinking -now is everything fine. After 10 min i stoped it. After a vile i tried to start it again, then its totaly dead!! Not a single pop! The L needle was on 1.5 H on 1.5. This morning i gave it a new go and it would not even ignite. Turned out the L nedle to 2, still dead.
In my frustration i tok out a spark plug to check the spark, something i was confused over was that the spark was quite small and jumping around. I measured the spark plug gap to about 1 mm (sorry for the unit, i am from Europe). Fells like 1 mm is maybe to mutch? I tried to google to find out the right gap but could not find anything relevant.
So my humble question to you guys is can someone on this forum give me the right spark plug gap for a ZDZ 100?? Perhaps in mm........
Best regards

typical spark plug gap for small gassers is .018 inches which is .45 mm. one mm is .040 inches which is on the large size. electronic ignitions may not be able to produce a reliable spark with that much gap. One universal unit of measurement is the thickness of an exacto knife blade. This is about right for spark plug gap.
